BHAYANAKA & BIBHATSA RASA

Bhayanak  is the sanskrit name of one's  BHARATA'S  sons. Bhayanaka refers to the terrible sentiment  or in a very simple language it means  Psychological state of mind. Bhayanaka refers  to a specific glance (drishti). It expresses the terrible sentiment. There are total thirty six glances defined.The glance in which the eyelids are drawn up and fixed and the eyeballs are gleaming and turning up is called  Bhayanaka Rasa. BIBHATSA RASA Bibhatsa Rasa has the dominant state of disgust such as hearing of unpleasant  , offensive , harmful things  or seeing and discussing them. The color associated with the Bibhatsa is Blue  and the deity of the Bibhatsa  Rasa   or Sentiment  is MAHAKALA   (Shiva). KARUN RASA & ADBHUTA RASA

KARUN RASA I am going to give some information about the third rasa i.e. Karun Rasa . If we elaborate this word then it means (compassion) . The interpretation,  usage and actual performance of a particular rasa.  In  Karun Rasa the performer shows through  her face Compassion or Empathy . The facial expression of this bhava or feeling implies that something bad is happened and the character wants to lend him / her help.. ADBHUTA RASA Now the fourth  Rasa is ADBHUTA RASA  . It refers to the marvelous or wonder sentiments.  It also refers to a specific glance. This is a type of glance that expresses the marvelous sentiment. The glance in which eyelashes are slightly curved at the end , eyeballs are raised in wonder and the eyes are charmingly widened till the end is called the ADBHUTA   .
